Known for her penchant for complicated and morally ambiguous characters, the actress starred as the girlfriend of Jamie Dutton, the adopted son of John Dutton.

Just as the actress expected, the third episode of Yellowstone’s season 5B sealed the fate of Sarah after she got ‘hit’ by the train station. After being revealed that it was her who had Kevin Costner‘s John Dutton killed, the latest episode finally saw karma catching up with her.

Left for dead in the car, the character finally met her end due to her own deeds. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter recently, Olivieri revealed it was an ending that she had expected and also stated that fans should not mourn her just now, for Taylor Sheridan has already set plans in motion to her her ‘reincarnated.’

In an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Olivieri confirmed her casting in the hit Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman-starrer series.

Slated to appear in the December first episode of the series, the actress also revealed that it is a totally different kind of role compared to her previous roles in the Sheridan-verse. Well, with Sarah gone and her actions still creating ripples in the world of Yellowstone, we can hardly wait to see what Dawn Olivieri will unleash in Lioness.

Yellowstone is available to be streamed on Paramount Network, with the final three episodes of season 5B releasing at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
